ISOC Libya, the local host of the NAIGF 2023 events organized on 23 January 2023 a press conference to announce these events.
Prior to the Press Conference, The Minister of state for communication and Political affairs, the Minister of state for Cabinet Affairs, and the Chairman of the Public Authority for Communication and Information expressed their satisfaction to see the North African Internet Governance Forum and its side events organized in Libya in 2023. They all committed to fully support the events and to do everything to ensure their success
The Chair of the NAIGF MAG presented the Internet Governance Forum Genesis, objectives and processes at the global level and then the Vice Chair presented the North African IGF.
In the press conference, Mr Abdelbasset El Baour, Chairman of the Public Authority for Communication and Information, Mr Tijani BEN JEMAA, Chair of the NAIGF MAG and Mr Abdelbasset Senoussi, CEO of Libyan Telecommunication Society Answered the journalists questions related to the Internet governance in Libya and at the global level .
