Pursuant to the provisions of the Charter of the North Africa Internet Governance Forum (NAIGF)<\/strong>, and within the framework of preparations for the upcoming cycle, the Advisory Committee is pleased to announce the opening of the call for nominations to host and organize:<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 – The 10th Annual Meeting of the North Africa Internet Governance Forum (NAIGF).<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 – The North Africa School on Internet Governance (NASIG).<\/span><\/p>

The North Africa Internet Governance Forum<\/strong> is a leading regional platform that aims to shape a shared vision on digital policies and to discuss key issues, including cybersecurity, the digital economy, artificial intelligence, human rights in the digital space, and inclusive digital transformation. The Forum also works to bridge the digital divide and to enhance the region\u2019s leadership in global dialogues related to internet governance, in a manner that safeguards the interests of the peoples of North Africa in the virtual world.<\/span><\/p>

This edition carries an exceptional significance, as it marks ten years (a full decade) since the establishment of the Forum, making it a major milestone for evaluation and forward-looking strategic reflection. This edition is expected to witness high-level participation, including ministers, government officials, parliamentarians, and representatives of all stakeholder groups, in addition to representatives of relevant international and regional organizations, as well as a strong and active participation of youth from across North African countries.<\/span><\/p>

Nomination Rules and Criteria:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

  1. The right to apply to host the Forum\u2019s annual meetings and activities is granted to all entities representing the various stakeholder groups, including governments, the private sector, civil society, the technical community, and the academic community, within the countries of North Africa (Algeria, Sudan, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Mauritania, and Libya).<\/span><\/li>
  2. The hosting entity for the Forum\u2019s annual meeting must operate in fields related to internet issues and internet governance, and its headquarters must be located in one of the North African countries.<\/span><\/li>
  3. In the event that a non-governmental entity applies to host the Forum, it is required to submit official documentation indicating no objection from the competent authority in the host country, in order to facilitate organizational arrangements and visa procedures for participants.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>

    Deadline for Submissions:<\/span>
    Letters of Expression of Interest must be submitted no later than Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 12:00 PM (noon) Greenwich Mean Time (GMT),<\/span><\/p>
